Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms

By signing in to Bulkmark with your X account, or by continuing to use the service after the effective date above, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use Bulkmark.

2. What Bulkmark does

Bulkmark connects to your X (Twitter) account via OAuth, syncs your bookmarks, generates short AI-written summaries using Anthropic's Claude models, and delivers a personalized email digest on a schedule you choose. The service also offers tagging, public and private lists, and a chat interface for exploring your bookmarks.

3. Account eligibility

You must have an active X account to use Bulkmark. One account per person. You are responsible for keeping your X credentials secure and for the accuracy of the email address you use to receive digests.

4. Subscription and billing

Bulkmark is a paid service billed annually with a 7-day free trial (a credit card is required at checkout; you are not charged until the trial ends). Pricing tiers (Founders, Early Bird, Early Access, Standard) may differ for early adopters; your current tier and annual price are displayed on your Settings page. Subscriptions renew annually until canceled.

Subscriptions are billed by Polar.sh, which acts as our Merchant of Record. This means Polar.sh is the legal seller of the subscription: the transaction on your card statement appears as Polar (not Bulkmark), Polar handles tax compliance (VAT and sales tax) for applicable jurisdictions, and Polar processes refunds and chargebacks. Your use of the billing service is also subject to Polar.sh's terms of service.

5. Cancellation and refunds

You can cancel your subscription at any time from the billing portal (accessible from Settings → Manage subscription) or by deleting your account. No refunds are issued for partial billing periods.Account deletion automatically cancels your subscription at the end of the current billing period.

Your bookmarks, chat history, tags, and lists remain your property. Bulkmark uses them only to deliver the service (sync, summarization, digest delivery, chat responses). We do not sell your data, and we do not use it to train AI models.

8. AI-generated summaries

Summaries shown in digests and the dashboard are generated automatically by Anthropic's Claude models based on the tweet content. These summaries are not guaranteed to be accurate. You should verify important information by reading the original tweet before acting on it.

9. Third-party services

Bulkmark relies on X (authentication and bookmarks), Anthropic (AI summarization), Polar.sh (payments), Resend (email delivery), Convex (database and backend), and Cloudflare (hosting). Your use of Bulkmark is also subject to the terms of these providers for the relevant interactions.

10. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or meet any particular requirement. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms is limited to the amounts you paid for the service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from Settings → Danger Zone. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, typically after notice where feasible.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms over time. Material changes will be announced by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of France. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of France, without regard to conflict-of-laws provisions.
